Great TV, watching chubby nerds quietly having multiple orgasms during deployment stages, release and radar locking thrusts.

Pre-emptive strike against those mm tall Martians, who are all going to get run over before they can launch their tripods on Earth.

H G Wells, you worried for nothing.

I love this stuff. It is amazing what we can do when we want to and have the vision.

I hate robot tracks on my Mars.

Completely ruins the chocolately aesthetic.

Six years developing a helicopter just to see if it will work on Mars. That's it. No other reason. Oh, and it can take a colour snap.

An incredible achievement and goes to show what us humans can do when we work together.

Fantastic achievement. I watched it live on NASA TV and the last part was deemed to be ‘7 minutes of hell’ as they had no contact until it landed..in one piece.
Great scenes as they celebrated in Pasadena. Hopefully this will lead to new discoveries. Exciting stuff.

I said to the Missus, Mike, that wouldn't it be funny if the first picture was of a Russian traffic warden slapping a ticket on its windscreen

Why didn’t they send two?

If the landing was so risky it seems daft to only send one. That’s a long way for the chance of it be for nothing within a couple of minutes.

FFS! They know we're here, now. We'll be invaded.

President Dale: "Sweetie, we may have to. The people expect me to meet with them"

First Lady: "Well they're not going to eat off the Van Buren china"

Imagine if they found signs of life

All the bible apologists frantically rephrasing verses to say that the good book already covered it
